Holiday Make-Up Ideas

If there’s one thing I can thank ‘Boo-Boo Kitty’ for, it’s teaching me the class (and sass) behind rocking a perfect cat-eye -

every. single. time.

Not only do I love to wear a sensible cat-eye for a glam red carpet, but the holidays are the prime time to rock both a bold eyeliner AND a red lip (your guide to the perfect red lip here)!

In this post, I’m sharing the Top FOUR Cat-Eyeliner Styles that will bring the pizzazz this yuletide season! So, whether it’s a holiday brunch or festive black-tie event, I gotchu.

The Fancy Feline 🐈

Sofia Loren perfected this look in the 1960’s and it never gets old.

Straight out, with an (almost) imperceptible swing, this results in a bold, strong statement.

A thick, audacious top liner meets a thin bottom liner at a sharp point of precision.

A purr-fect number.

The Power Panther 🐾

This retro-style is dramatic. Unapologetic.

The liner starts off slim and becomes prominent as you near the end of the eye.

Large, majestic swoops, because, honestly, who’s going to stop you?

Claws out.

The Tamed Tabby 🐱

She’s gentle, but not subdued, with just a hint of a wing at the end.

A conscious choice.

It’s not too much - but just enough - to draw attention to the eyes; a little ‘cat nip’, if you will. ;)

Perfect for work, a family gathering or a holiday daytime brunch.

The Cat’s Meow 😻

This smoldering look is perfect for those legendary nights-out-on-the-town.

Smokey smudges and daring arcs show dimension and depth.

 A show-stopper. Black-tie. Ready to pounce.

Suggested product: Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner
